Hosted by the Peyton Walker Foundation and UPMC, a student heart screening clinic will be held Friday, February 1, 2025 at Mountain View Middle School in Mechanicsburg. All District students ages 10-22 are able to register.

The Academic Bowl, sponsored by the West Shore Foundation, is designed for students throughout the District in grades four through eight to showcase their general knowledge across a vast spectrum of topics. Brackets for the competition are posted here.

Each month throughout the school year, the Communications Department emails families and staff information relevant to the month including important dates, reminders, upcoming events, and useful information.

The West Shore School District has earned recognition for its dedication to active-duty military members and their families.

During the Board of Directors reorganization meeting on Thursday, December 5th, the Board elected Mrs. Kelly J. Brent as Board President and Mrs. Mandy L. Davis as Board Vice President.
