These virtual gatherings will provide a platform for discussion among educators, policymakers, community leaders, and stakeholders about the current state of education, the challenges faced by school districts, and how to ensure equitable educational opportunities for all students.

Community Supports Expo 2025

The District's Special Education Department would like to invite you to join us for the 2025 Community Supports Expo on Wednesday, April 23, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The expo will be held at Cedar Cliff High School and is open to parents with students attending West Shore, Cumberland Valley, East Pennsboro, and Camp Hill School Districts.

West Shore Points of Pride

The Spring 2025  issue of the Points of Pride Newsletter  covers important updates and touching personal stories, including: Stories of the West Shore Natatorium, Cyber Charter Funding - Auditor General's Report, 2025-2026 Budget Update, Federal Funding Information, Consideration of Full-Day Kindergarten and more.

Paper copies of Points of Pride were mailed to all West Shore School District residents and an electronic version can be found under the Communications Department tab.

Special Education Plan 2025-2028

The Special Education Plan describes the special education program and services that are provided within the District and those special education programs and services which are accessed by the District from outside the school buildings. The plan, extending for three years, is regularly reviewed and submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Education after being approved by the Board of School Directors. The most recent plan was approved in submitted in 2022. 

The 2025-2028 plan is now available for public display ahead of submission to the Board of School Directors later in the year. Click here to review the plan.

Health and Safety Plan

During the 2024-2025 school year we will continuously monitor and assess health information pertaining to COVID-19; requirements received from PDE, DOH, or any other regulatory agency; and information from local health care providers to determine best practices moving forward and to guide our decision making.
